Palin’s Speech

I’m extremely bias, so I’m probably not the person to ask, but answering the question, “how was Sarah Palin’s speech?” will depend on who you’re asking. The base and the people inside that arena will love it. Outside, I’m sure people will respect the effort and the ability, but it was so condescending.

While the Dems did their part hitting McCain during their convention, it usually always started off with a complement of McCain, followed by attacks on his actual record, his flip-flop or something he had actually said, “I agree with the President (Bush) 90% of the time”.

Her speech just reeked of belittlement of Obama, which I’m completely confident is their goal. I’m just not sure how that’s going to play. While the Democrats talked about creating ‘One America’, the Republicans and Palin, spent the evening attacking ‘Elitist’, the East Coast, San Francisco, etc. The same old, same old we’ve been hearing since the late 60’s and Nixon, used well by Reagan and perfected by George Bush.
